Sarawak Thalassaemia Society Sibu

The Sarawak Thalassaemia Society extended its wings to Sibu and Miri in 1999 to cater for the increasing number of Thalassaemic patients in Sarawak. Last year alone, we had 5 new cases diagnosed in Sibu.

Our society aims to care for the welfare of thalassaemia patients in Sibu and provide necessary helps wherever possible. Thalassaemia patients cannot survive without proper medication. However, as these medication are quite expensive, we need help in terms of monetary form to subsidize them.
